Welcome to Trans - Africa Theological College

There is something special about preparing for Christian service in an environment like this one.

First and foremost is the spiritual focus of the campus.  Our mother body the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia, was birthed and grown in revival.  We want the imprint of that revival and the work of the Spirit of God to remain part of all we do.  We seek an upward focus of worship on a daily basis.  We value the prayer life of the college in a paramount way.

Secondly, we provide a special community.  This is a place where lifelong friendships are formed and nurtured.  Married couples enjoy an environment that values family life and social interaction.  Single students develop positive and uplifting relationships.  Our excellent personnel of faculty and staff are called to Christian service, contribute their gifts with the interests of the entire community at heart, care deeply about the people they serve and bring a great range of skills and talents to the community.  We are all about people.  Year by year God brings to us some of the very best.

Thirdly, there are the amenities which make our campus a special place.  From the cafeteria, which provides wholesome meals, to the student life centre, to the computer lab and library, to recreational areas and activities — all contribute to an infrastructure that makes the campus function well.

Fourthly, we keep Christian service at the centre.  Training Christian leaders who will transform communities is what we are about.  We like to keep students connected with local churches, crusades and ministry throughout their time with us.  We encourage internship sessions with experienced pastors as well as church planting initiatives.

Last but not least, we provide a level of academic excellence that opens doors for our students to learn a lot about a wide range of subjects related to contemporary Christian leadership.  Our faculty come with a wide range of expertise in everything from the biblical languages to cross-cultural communication.  We strive for relevance in our courses.  We conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments.  We seek to be culturally relevant and in step with the times.

But our graduates are our best spokesmen!  We’re proud of them and their great contribution to their communities.  They look back on their time here as formative. They give us every reason to encourage others to follow in their steps.
